TECSIL™ yarn for braiding is a minimum 96% silica product for high temperature continuous applications to 1800*F (982*C)
This textile material delivers consistently high strength and durability. With PTFE coating to aid in handling and braiding machine operation that will enable to run at faster speeds thus reducing labor costs.
Tecsil® has minimal shrinkage in application while providing a reliable insulation with good dialectic strength and is supplied on ¼ pound braider bobbins.
TECSIL™ cordage is likewise minimum 96% silica that is high strength and durability and primarily used as curtains for furnaces. This material has a PTFE lubricant as well that is applied to aid in handling and improve abrasion resistance.
Sizing diameters of 0.040 and 0.050” are supplied on 1½ pound cones
